Jammu Former Miss Jammu Anara Gupta, who was exonerated in a case of acting in a porn film, says a proposed movie on her life will help prove her innocence.
Addressing a press conference in Jammu, Anara, flanked by film producers Shankar Bhan and K K Yadav, said that through this film people would know about her ?shocking, true story?.
Anara, who was also jailed for few days in the porn CD case last year, said whatever had happened with her and her family was both unexpected and shocking.
?In the film I will be sharing with the people whatever is in my heart and what the truth is,'? she added.
She said that she has had offers from Bollywood as well.
Film producers Shankar Bhan said the movie, to be directed by B R Ishara, was against the ''wrong system'' and not any individual or the J&K police.
He added that Anara will play herself in the film and there will be two male leads, one from Jammu and the other from Mumbai.
Bhan said if Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed provides financial support, they were ready to shoot the whole film in Jammu and Kashmir.
He said he had decided to make a film on Anara because he was confident that it would send a positive message about women's empowerment in the country.
Asked if the court had barred Anara from working in films, Yadav made it clear that she had only been directed not to comment on the court proceedings.
Anara was arrested on October 24, 2004, along with her mother and brothers, for allegedly acting in a pornographic movie.
She was held for a week and an FIR was registered against her the next day.
