Amit Shah condoles NCP leader RR Patil's death
"My condolences and prayers for the departed soul of Shri RR Patil ji (former Home Minister of Maharashtra),"says Amit Shah.

New Delhi: BJP President Amit Shah on Monday condoled the demise of former Maharashtra home minister and NCP leader R R Patil.

"My condolences and prayers for the departed soul of Shri RR Patil ji (former Home Minister of Maharashtra)," Shah posted on microblogging site Twitter.

Patil died on Monday from cancer at the age of 57. He breathed his last at Lilavati Hospital where he was on life support, hospital sources said.

The NCP leader, who was Maharashtra's Home Minister during the 26/11 terror attacks and a six-term MLA from Tasgaon in Sangli district, is survived by his mother, wife, and two daughters.
