New Delhi: An Air India flight from Delhi to Milan was forced to make an emergency landing at Indira Gandhi International Airport on Tuesday evening after smoke was reported inside the cabin.

AI official claimed that there was a malfunction in a part in cabin. "We will be accommodating the passengers in an alternative flight. There were 167 passengers in all onboard," the official said.
The flight was finally taken off for Milan at 3 pm.
