Ahead Of Ram Temple Inauguration, Flight And Train Tickets To Ayodhya Sold Out

The authorities have left no stone-turned for the inauguration of the Ram Temple on January 24, 2024. Everyone is looking forward to the darshan of Ram Lalla’s idol. As per reports, around a lakh devotees are eager to visit Ayodhya around January 22. If you are also planning for the same, you must organise the trip, keeping in mind many important aspects.

At present, tickets are not available for trains departing on or before January 22. Not only trains, but flights are also not available for Ayodhya on and before this date. The problems will remain for the tourists, even if they reach their destination via car. They may have to spend a lot of money to get a room in a hotel as well. Even after spending so much, there are fewer possibilities that they will be able to get a room. News18 Hindi got in touch with one travel agent to know more about the situation in Ayodhya.

Vijay Tiwari said that there has been a sharp growth in his business due to the construction of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya. Vijay works in a hotel and travel agency. He said that many devotees want to visit Ayodhya between January 20 and January 22. Due to this reason, many clients have been making inquiries. According to him, his customers were left disappointed due to the non-availability of hotel rooms in Ayodhya. Vijay said that the rent of the hotel rooms is Rs 5,000 to Rs 32,000 per day.

Not only the hotel room rates, but the prices of the trains and the flights are also exorbitant. Vijay Tiwari said that there is an abundant availability of trains in Ayodhya. All the trains for the 20th, 21st, and 22nd of January, however, have been booked. Even if some seats are available on the Ayodhya Express train, there is a waiting list of about 80 slots. It is difficult to get confirmation in one of the slots.

Ayodhya Airport is to be inaugurated on December 30 this year. Only two flights are operational for travelling to Ayodhya. One is Air India and the other is Indigo Airlines. The price of the tickets for these flights is priced at Rs 15,000. Only a couple of seats are available on both flights.
