New Delhi: Sporting enthusiasts in the country can vouch for Australia's approach in various events, and they now experience it first hand with Sports Down Under - a 14-day training programme in Australia that's currently on.
SDU offers intensive training in disciplines such as cricket, football, lawn tennis, hockey, golf and basketball. India-based Neo International Sports Academy, along with the Australian International Soprts Academy have brought the event to India.
A tryst with the best of coaches in picturesque Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Sports Down Under is taking 20 participants in batches at a time, a media release said.
The coaching staff includes illustrious names in the world of sport, namely present Australian cricket coach John Buchanan, John Wallace for swimming, renowned basketball coach Bruce Palmer, Tom fielding for golf and ex-Australian hockey star Terry Walsh.
