New Delhi: A nine-year-old boy who was kidnapped from South West Delhi's Dwarka area was found murdered on Tuesday evening.
According to police, the boy was allegedly kidnapped from outside his residence at Dwarka Sector 23 by his friends reportedly to settle personal enmity. The two accused are juveniles (aged 16-17) and were arrested by the police.
During interrogation the accused confessed their crime. They strangled and slit his throat before dumping the body in a nearby field.
On February 28, the boy went missing while playing in front of his house. With the boy failing to return till late, his father lodged a complaint with the local police.
One of the accused is a distant relative of the victim.
