58-yr-old woman allegedly commits suicide by jumping from 8th floor

A 58-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide by jumping from her 8th floor apartment in a highrise in the Indirapuram area, police said on Saturday.

The victim, identified as one Neelam Mahajan, took the extreme step at around 11.30 A.M. today when there was nobody present at her home, sources said.

"Security guards found the victim lying in a pool of blood.

She was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was declared dead," police said, adding that the deceased was known to have been suffering from depression.
