Amritsar: Three Army men and four Lashkar militants were killed in Jammu and Kashmir as one of the two encounters came to an end here on Wednesday.
The jawans were killed in two separate encounters in Rajouri district. The four militants, all from Pakistan and between the age of 18 to 20, were killed in an encounter at Kandi. The terrorists were equipped with GPS wireless sets, claimed police.
A station house officer of the state police has also been injured. While the gunbattle at Dharamsala is still on, the encounter in Kandi district continued for over 12 hours.
