THIRUVANATHAPURAM:  Schools in the district have recorded a very good performance in the AISCCE examinations of the CBSE for standard XII, the results of which were announced on Monday. Holy Angels’ School has secured hundred per cent results in the examinations. In the Biology stream, Akhila J Prasad is the school topper with 95.2 per cent. She is  closely followed by Rhea Anna Kurian with 95 percent.In the Computer stream, Sabitha Susan Joesph is the topper with 92 per cent. Out of the 60 students, 45 scored distinction and 13 secured first class. Saraswathi Vidyalaya, Vattiyoorkavu, recorded 99.2 per cent pass in the examinations. Of the 361 students who appeared from the school, 197 got distinction and 139 first class. C M Niranjana with 96 per cent marks is the school topper in Science stream and Farsad Mohammed with 93 per cent marks is the topper in the Commerce stream. Sivagiri Sreenarayana Senior Secondary School, Varkala,  also has put up an excellent performance in the examinations. The school achieved a pass percentage of  98. Out of the 50 students who appeared, 19 got distinction, 21 got first class and five second class. Vaishnavi J P got the top marks, with 469 out of 500. Amrita Vidyalayam, Kaimanam, registered 100-per cent pass in the examination, with 40-per cent distinction and 60-per cent first class. J A Anju with 95.2 per cent marks emerged school topper. St Thomas Central School, Mukkolakkal, also registered 100-per cent pass in the examinations. Of the 312 students who appeared, 189 got distinction; of which, 41 secured 90 per cent marks. As many as 117 got first class. Namitha Chacko with 96.8 per cent and Sohini Sneha Olikara and Vaishnavi Nair with 95.8 per cent are the toppers in the Science stream. In Commerce, Tara M Hari with 94.6 per cent and    Anusha V with 92.8 per cent are the toppers. Neeraja Balachandran S with 92.6 per cent and Jibin Mathew George with 92.2 per cent are the toppers in Humanities. St Mary’s Residential Central School, Poojappura, also secured cent per cent results in the examinations. Of the total 60 students who appeared from the school, 38 got distinction and 22 first class. Lekshmi Devi R is the school topper with 95.8 per cent marks. Sree Chitra Public School, Chirayinkeezh, recorded all-pass. Of the students who appeared for the examinations, 70 per cent got distinction and 30 per cent first class. Kumari R Rekha is the school topper with 93 per cent marks. She got 100 per cent marks in Mathematics. She won   the G Madhavan Nair endowment award and M K Narayanan endowment award, both carrying a sum of ` 10,000 each. Sree Chithira Thirunal Residential Central School, Kunnathukkal, secured 100 per cent pass in the examinations. Of the total 36 students who appeared for the examinations, 32 got distinction and 14 first class. Kiran A R is the school topper with 90 per cent marks. Kairali Vidya Bhavan, Nedumangad secured all-pass in the examinations. Jyothis Central School, Kazhakkoottam also bagged 100-per cent pass. Of the 30 students who appeared from the school in Science stream, all passed with first class,  with seven of them getting distinction. Aswin Suresh become the school topper with 90 per cent marks, while Pooja Surendran and Athira Santhosh are in the second and third position in Science stream. In the Commerce stream,  all the six students got first class. Rehmath is the school topper in Commerce stream. Sree Vivekananda Memorial Public School, Aralummoodu, has secured hundred-per cent results in the examinations. Nagas Lal with 90 per cent marks is the school topper. Navajeevan Bethany Vidyalaya, Nalanchira, has also recorded all-pass in the examinations. Out of the 77 students, 20 got distinction, 39 first class and the remaining second class. Nicksy Antony, P N Roopali, Greshma Jayan, Sweety Florence Stuart, Sneha V S and Akhil A S are the school toppers. Admissions have been started in the school for class XI. Abdulsalam Rafi Residential Public School, Nettayam,  secured 95-per cent pass in the examinations. Of the 87 students who appeared for the examinations, 82 passed. Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Manacaud-Attukal also presented a good show. As many as 20 students from the school got distinction and 25 first class. Vaishanvi A J is the school topper.
