The upcoming Telugu film Double iSmart has been making headlines ever since its announcement by the makers. It is a much-awaited sequel to the superhit film, iSmart Shankar. Earlier, it was unveiled that Baby fame Vaishnavi Chaitanya has been roped in to play the female lead in the film. As per the latest reports, the actress will not only portray the lead in the film, but will also have an item song in Double iSmart. Headlined by Ram Pothineni, the film is garnering everyone’s attention for various reasons. The dynamic duo, actor Ram Pothineni and acclaimed director Puri Jagannadh, coming together is one of the reasons why the buzz around Double iSmart is high. Speaking of another reason, Sanjay Dutt’s appearance adds to the excitement. Now, with reports suggesting Vaishnavi’s item song in the film, fans’ excitement has further elevated.
Speaking of iSmart Shankar, the film was a monumental blockbuster. The film solidified both the actor and director’s position in the Telugu entertainment industry. Double iSmart’s cast and plot has been kept under wraps. The film will be released pan-India in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi languages. It is expected to hit the theatres on Maha Shivaratri next year.
Vaishnavi is set to star alongside Ashish Reddy in his upcoming film Love Me. The shooting for this project is currently ongoing. Vaishnavi also has two more Telugu films in her kitty. As per the reports, she will be collaborating again with Anand Devarakonda for her next project after Baby. It will also be produced under the Geetha Arts banner.
Vaishanvi’s last superhit film Baby, released this year, is a coming-of-age romantic drama film. It received positive response from audience and critics as well. The film was written and directed by Sai Rajesh Neelam. It was headlined by Anand Deverakonda, brother of actor Vijay Deverakonda.
