Days Before Kidney Transplant, Go Goa Gone Producer Mukesh Udeshi Dies Aged 53
Mukesh Udeshi served as a line producer for numerous Bollywood films that were filmed in Mauritius. Some of them include Ek Villain, Himmatwala, Chashme Baddoor, Go Goa Gone, and many more.

On Monday evening, film producer Mukesh Udeshi passed away in Chennai at the age of 53. He had been dealing with various health issues for the past few days, with preparations for a kidney transplant in progress. Sadly, he passed away before the operation could take place. His untimely demise has led to an outpouring of grief within the film industry.

Mukesh was known for his involvement in producing Hindi films and serving as a line producer for Mauritius. He co-produced the movie Kaun? directed by Ram Gopal Varma, featuring Urmila Matondkar and Manoj Bajpayee, as well as producing films for Chiranjeevi under the banner of Allu Arvind.

Mukesh Udeshi’s contributions to the film industry included producing SP Parasuram, directed by Raviraja Pinishetti, starring Chiranjeevi and Sridevi as the lead actors, along with Allu Aravind and actor Vishal’s father GK Reddy. He also took on the role of producer for The Gentleman, featuring Chiranjeevi in the Hindi version of the film.

Revealing details about the late producer’s health, Pravesh Sippy, a senior producer and a close friend, shared, “He had been gearing up for a kidney transplant in Chennai, with Allu Arvind looking after him. Sadly, he passed away just a few days before the scheduled operation.”

Mukesh Udeshi also served as a line producer for numerous Bollywood films that were filmed in Mauritius. Some notable examples of these films include Ek Villain, Himmatwala, Chashme Baddoor, Go Goa Gone, and many more.

A few months ago, popular Malayalam producer P K Ramachandran Pillai, known for producing 16 films, including the Malayalam blockbuster Chithram, passed away at his residence in Mandanchira near Peechi due to age-related ailments at the age of 92. He was affectionately known as PKR Pillai and was the founder of the film production company Shirdi Sai Creations. In addition to producing films, he also worked as a distributor for several movies. His journey in the film industry began with the production of the Malayalam movie Vepralam in 1984 and he went on to produce notable films like Amritham Gamaya, Vandanam, Kizhakkunarum Pakshi, Aham, and Oomappenninu Uriyadappayyan. His final film, Pranayamanithooval, was released in 2002.
