Pick Out the Basics
Choose a comfortable, but stylish top. A bright striped t-shirt can jazz up your outfit without looking sloppy. If you're going for something more formal, try a classy button-up blouse in a looser fit - you don't want to feel constrained.
Select your jeans or shorts. Shorts are another favorable option if it's going to be hot during the afternoon. Jeans are casual but also easy to dress up. Again, go for a softer pair that'll keep you comfortable walking through the halls all day, and if you're opting for stylish skinny jeans, make sure they're not too skin-tight, or you'll be uncomfortable during school in classes.
Wear a skirt. If you're wearing a skirt or a dress, make sure it's an appropriate length. The last thing you want is to get in trouble for breaking the dress code, so skip the tiny mini-skirts. Try a pleated or pencil skirt, or a feminine dress with a pretty print.
Pick out shoes, sandals, or anything comfortable. It should be appropriate and match your style. Realistically, flats are going to be a lot more comfortable than teetering around in heels all day. Slip-on a pair of ballet flats, lace-up oxfords, or sneakers that match your outfit.
Add Choice Accessories
Layer up with a cardigan, stylish jacket, or an anorak. Be prepared if your classrooms get cold by layering a cardigan or a jacket over your top. With sweaters, opt for a softer knit for maximum comfort.
Add minimal jewelry. Try a stack of colorful bangles or a couple of layers of necklaces. Jewelry is a great way to personalize your outfit - just don't overdo it.
Pick out a unique backpack. Backpacks don't have to be boring. Choose one in a bright, stand-out color. A roomy messenger bag can be a stylish alternative to a backpack.
