Do you need to reduce the colors in your image? One way you can do that is to pixelate it.
Pixelating the Entire Image
Open Photoshop.
Go to File >> Open and select your image.
Head to Filter >> Pixelate >> Mosaic.
Choose the cell size (Amount of squares).
Enjoy your pixelated photo!
Pixelating Individual Objects
Select the rectangular marquee tool and drag around the individual object to select it.
Click Filter >> Pixelate >> Mosaic.
Set the cell size.
Enjoy your pixelated image!
