Ingredients

Making the Cookie Dough

Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Cream the butter and sugar in a large bowl, using an electric mixer, until light and fluffy.

Pour in the vanilla and milk and beat again.

Add the salt and flour, and slowly combine them together.

Fold in the chocolate chips and mix until the cookie dough forms.

Roll the cookie dough into small marble-sized balls.

Lay the balls on the baking sheet and chill until ready to use.

Making the Waffles

Sift the dry ingredients. In a large bowl, sift the flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder until light and fluffy.

Whisk the wet ingredients and sugar in a separate large bowl. Whisk the eggs, melted butter, vanilla, and sugar until well-combined and peaks form.

Pour in the dry ingredients and stir well.

Preheat the waffle iron and grease it well with vegetable oil.

Pour ½ cup of waffle batter on the waffle iron using a ladle.

Drop six to seven of the marble-sized cookie balls onto the waffle while it cooks.

Close the lid and cook both sides of the waffle until the waffle is golden brown.

Repeat until there is no more waffle batter.

Serve. Place the waffles on a serving plate and garnish with whipped cream and chocolate chips. Enjoy!
