How to Change Your WeChat Profile Picture on an iPhone or iPad

Open WeChat on your iPhone or iPad. It’s the green icon with two overlapping chat bubbles inside. You’ll usually find it on the home screen.

Tap Me. It’s at the bottom-right corner of the screen.

Tap your name. It’s at the top of the screen.

Tap Profile Photo. It’s at the top of the screen.

Tap ⋯. It’s at the top-right corner of the screen.

Tap Choose from Album. This opens your iPhone or iPad’s gallery. To take a new photo, tap Take Photo, then snap your photo.

Select an image from the gallery. This opens the image in the crop screen. If you took a new photo, you should already be at the crop screen.

Select the part of the image you want to use. Drag the corners of the square to surround only the part of the photo you want to appear on your profile.

Tap Done. It’s at the top-right corner of the screen. Your profile photo will update immediately.
