What If 2 Trailer Out: New Season Promises Action In 'Twisted Multiverse' Adventure
What If 2 is set to debut on Disney+Hotstar on December 22, featuring a distinctive release schedule where each episode will premiere every night for 9 consecutive days.

Film director Bryan Andrews is back with the much-anticipated sequel to What If. The first season of the action-animated series, released in 2021, was a hit amongst Marvel enthusiasts. Now, What If 2 is ready to mark its premiere on OTT platform Disney+Hotstar on December 22. Ahead of that, the makers have piqued the interest of the masses by dropping the trailer for the second season on November 15. The upcoming segment has adopted a unique release schedule with every episode to be premiered every night for 9 consecutive days, which is the end of 2023.

Dropping What If trailer on social media platforms, Marvel Studios wrote, “Things have gotten a little twisted in the Multiverse… All new episodes of Marvel Studios’ What If are coming to Disney Plus on December 22. Unwrap one episode every day for nine consecutive days as our gift to you!" The trailer is an introduction to another version of the Avengers from the multiverse. These extraordinarily talented individuals are on a mission to keep the planet safe from a kid harbouring telekinetic abilities. What exactly causes the danger is a secret waiting to be revealed.

Soon The Watcher, voiced by Jeffrey Wright, makes an appearance on the screen and says in a chilling tone, “You thought the story was over? But it was only the beginning." The Watcher is the bridge connecting the viewers with the different timelines that the series and over 30 MCU films explore. The sneak peek glimpses show Michael Douglas voicing Hank Pym from the Ant-Man film franchise.

The final few episodes of What If assemble multiverse heroes to wage a war against the evil Ultron. This time, the threat is a kid with superhuman abilities. Although at first, the superheroes are skeptical about the child being a danger, his actions prove something more sinister. With plenty of action, fight sequences, explosions, and a gritty pace — What If 2 promises to carry the legacy of What If forward, with an even more gripping tale of action.

As soon as the trailer surfaced on the internet, fans were quick to express their excitement about the upcoming season in the comment section. While one of them wrote, “Now this is what Marvel Fans want" another admitted, “Okay, you have my attention". “Can we finally see Dr. Strange and Scarlett witch fight together?" questioned another.

What If 2 has rightfully created a buzz, waiting to be out in a month.
