Selena Gomez, Steve Martin's Only Murders In The Building Renewed For Season 4
The thrilling finale of Season 3 of 'Only Murders in the Building' wrapped up on Tuesday, October 3, leaving fans in anticipation about Season 4.

The Season 3 Finale of Hulu Original ‘Only Murders in the Building’ wrapped up on October 3, ending with one case solved and another one beginning. Starring actors Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez as three mismatched podcasters who go around solving murders committed in the New York apartment block where they live, the hilarious murder mystery is a smasher hit on Hulu and is now officially renewed for a 4th season. The previous season, which saw the star-guest entries of Meryl Steep and Paul Rudd, turned out to become the highest-rated Hulu original episode of this year and also the most-watched original comedy ever on Hulu.

With that said, while there are not many deets available in the upcoming season, based on its track record of inviting star guests, it seems like there is still more to come in the next part. With the last season ending on an interesting note, viewers were left hoping for Season 4, and their wish was granted on the very same day as Hulu officially announced the renewal of ‘Only Murders in the Building’.

Taking to its social media handles, Hulu made the announcement with a note that reads, “Only Murders in the Building is returning for Season 4! The trio’s journey is far from over.” Alongside the announcement, a picture of the epic trio was also shared. Notably, Hulu is yet to announce the release date of the fourth season.

Only Murders in the Building: Season 3 Finale

In the thrilling finale ‘Opening Night’ of Season 3, the identity of Ben Glenroy (Paul Rudd) was revealed, however, leaving viewers surprised about Charles (Steve Martin) being the target for the next murder. However, deets about the same have been kept under wraps for the fourth season. This happens after Charles reunites with former stunt double Sazz Pataki (Jane Lynch). As the two enter Charles’ apartment to pick up a bottle of Argentinian Malbec, a scene shows Charles getting shot in the chest by a bullet that enters through the window.

However, as the camera pans over the body, it is not Charles but Sazz who lies dying on the floor. She can be seen trying to write something on the ground with her blood. The credit scene rolls immediately after that, showing someone wanting to kill Charles.

Thus, it can be believed that Season 4 will revolve around Sazz Pataki’s murder, who was taken down by mistake instead of Martin.
