Jonas Brother will be performing in India for the first time ever in the second edition of Lollapalooza India. On Friday, the organisers of the mega show announced the lineup for the upcoming musical extravaganza and left everyone super excited. The performers’ list also featured the Jonas Brothers which comprises Joe Jonas, Kevin Jonas and Priyanka Chopra’s husband Nick Jonas.
However, the Lollapalooza lineup has left everyone wondering if it is PeeCee who convinced the Jonas Brothers to perform in India. Earlier this year, Priyanka and Nick attended the grand opening ceremony of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) in Mumbai when the actress suggested that her husband should also perform in India.
“Proud to be here," Nick said when Priyanka interrupted him and suggested, “You guys should come and perform here." The Citadel actress then added, “We should perform here. That’s a good idea. We have never played here, it will be amazing." Watch the video here:
Nick Jonas married Bollywood diva Priyanka Chopra in December 2018. The two also have a daughter named Malti Marie whom they welcomed in January 2022 via surrogacy.
On January 27 and January 28, 2024, Lollapalooza India will once again transform the iconic Mahalaxmi Race Course, Mumbai, into a captivating haven for all music enthusiasts, showcasing an eclectic line-up of renowned artists from around the globe and India across a two-day extravaganza.
Featuring four stages and over 20 hours of unforgettable live music performed by some of the biggest names globally and locally, Lollapalooza India 2024 will also see performances by Halsey and OneRepublic. Besides, Keane, Lauv, Jungle, Royal Blood, JPEGMAFIA, Meduza, DJ Malaa, Caribou, The Rose, Eric Nam, Anoushka Shankar, Fatoumata Diawara, DJ Kenny Beats, The Raghu Dixit Project, When Chai Met Toast and Garden City Movement will also bring their musical genius to Lollapalooza India 2024 at the multi-genre music festival’s second edition in the Asian continent.
