Fabregas credits Mourinho 'magic' for Chelsea's EPL title win
Having toiled at Arsenal with just one FA Cup and Community Shield title, it was nothing less than a dream come true for Fabregas, who is among the EPL champions in just 10 months.

Former Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas, recruited from Barcelona last year, has been central to Chelsea ending their five-year drought to win the English Premier League again.

With three games to spare, the Blues celebrated their fifth EPL title after a scrappy 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace last week, and it was something Fabregas was "waiting for a long time."

Having toiled at Arsenal with just one FA Cup and Community Shield title, it was nothing less than a dream come true for Fabregas, who is among the EPL champions in just 10 months.

"It's also a relief. I have been waiting for it for a long time. I have been in this league for many years now and to win this trophy means a lot. To do it at home [Stamford Bridge] is very important as well. I think we are all proud and we cannot wait for the next season now," Fabregas told media after the title victory.

With 17 assists and three goals, Fabregas was central to Chelsea's dream coming true. With this title, the Spaniard has become a vital cog for the Blues and must have left his former manager Arsene Wenger with sleepless nights.

Fabregas also referred his manager Jose Mourinho as "magic", saying that the Portuguese coach is the best he has ever worked with.

"Yes, Mourinho has a touch of magic, 100 percent. He knows how to manage a team, he knows how to get the best out of you, and that's what you want from a manager, 100 percent. He just loves winning. I'm not just saying other managers I have played under don't, but he has some edge that goes above anyone else I have ever been with," Fabregas said.
