Newly appointed Manchester City Manager Manuel Pellegrini is on course of adding fresh new faces to his squad.

According to tribalfootball.com, the Chilean has a few more names in his mind whom he's looking to land down at the Etihad.

The Citizens have already availed the services of Brazilian midfielder Fernandinho and Spanish winger Jesus Navas. Along with that, there are also talks of Alvaro Negrado and Stefan Jovetic being more or less added to the side.

According to Pellegrini it is highly uncertain as to who will stay and who won't, "We will try to have a very good squad this year so, as you say, we are in the market. We don't know at this moment who is going to come here but we are trying to get the best players for us to add to our squad," Pellegrini told reporters on the clubs preseason tour of South Africa.

"I don't know if, before we finish here in South Africa, other names will arrive to our squad. Maybe in the next few days we can have fresh news but at the moment I cannot tell you what you ask." he added.
