The Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) released the notification for the Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET) 2024. The notification includes details on the application process, eligibility criteria, exam pattern, syllabus and key dates. Online applications for UTET 2024 began on July 23, 2024, and candidates can apply until August 17 via the official UTET website: ukutet.com. Candidates are required to upload scanned images of their photograph, signature and left-hand thumb impression.
Candidates will have the opportunity to edit or modify their application forms from August 20 to August 22. According to the notification, the UTET 2024 is set for October 26, and will be conducted in two sessions: UTET-I from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm and UTET-II from 02:00 pm to 04:30 pm. The exam will last for 2 hours and 30 minutes. Candidates must bring their admit card and a valid photo ID proof to the examination centre.
Uttarakhand TET 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have passed class 12 and the Diploma in Education for UTET Paper-I (aspiring to teach classes 1 to 5). Whereas for UTET Paper- II (aspiring to teach classes 6 to 8), candidates must have completed their graduation and have a B.Ed degree or equivalent. There is no age limit as such for any of the categories.

Step 1: Navigate to the ukutet.com official website
Step 2: Select “New Registration” if you are not registered on the portal.
Step 3: After finishing up the registration, go to the homepage again.
Step 4: Enter the registration number, password, and captcha code to access your profile’s dashboard.
Step 5: Accurately fill out the UTET Application Form and upload the necessary documents, including your photo and signature.
Step 6: Remit the application fee and finish the process.
Step 7: Print a copy of your application for records.
Uttarakhand TET 2024: Application Fee
The examination fee must be paid online via Net Banking, credit, or debit card. The application fee is Rs 600 for general and OBC candidates for a single paper and Rs 1000 for both papers. SC/ST/PWD candidates must pay Rs 300 for a single paper and Rs 500 for both papers.
