The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) released the admit cards for the Physical Measurement and Efficiency Test for Sub Inspector Civil (Police/Intelligence), Fire Station Second Officer, and Platoon Commander (Male – PAC/IRB) Exam 2024 on August 23, 2024. The physical examination is scheduled from September 2 to October 5, 2024, for 1,00,020 candidates. Candidates who are appearing for the exam can download their admit cards from the official website, psc.uk.gov.in

The UKPSC has notified a total of 222 vacancies for Uttarakhand Police Sub-Inspector (SI) (Civil Police/ Intelligence), Fire Station Second Officer, and Platoon Commander (Gulmnayak)- Male (PAC/ IRB) posts under The Home Department. These tests will take place at six centers across the state, including 46 BN PAC Rudrapur, 40 BN PAC Haridwar, IRB II Dehradun, IRB I Ramnagar (Nainital), 31 BN PAC Rudrapur, and SDRF Jollygrant Dehradun.

Uttarakhand Police SI Recruitment 2024: Steps to download admit card

Step 1: Visit the official website, psc.uk.gov.in

Step 2: Navigate to the admit card section on the homepage and click on it.

Step 3: Select the link given on the homepage for ‘Sub Inspector (Civil Police/Intelligence), Fire Station Second Officer, And Platoon Commander, Male (PAC/IRB) Exam-2024 (Under the Home Department)’.

Step 4: A new page will open where you can log in using your mobile number and password.

Step 5: Submit it and the admit card will appear on your home screen

Step 6: Download and take a screenshot or printout for future reference.

Uttarakhand Police SI Recruitment 2024: Selection process

The recruitment process includes several stages:

Physical Measurement Test (PMT): Where the candidates’ height, chest, and weight measurements are checked.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET): In this examination, candidates are tested on their physical fitness through activities like running, high jump, and other physical tasks.

Written Examination: Those who pass the physical tests proceed to a written exam that tests their knowledge in various subjects.

Document Verification and Medical Examination: Final checks to ensure candidates meet all qualifications and are medically fit for the job.

Candidates must have completed their class 12 examination from a recognised university or equivalent qualification by the closing date of the application. The minimum age at which the applicant can apply is 18 years and the maximum age is 28 years. However, age relaxation is provided for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per government norms.

According to the physical standards, the height of the male candidates should be a minimum of 167 cm (SC candidates: 160 cm, candidates from hilly areas: 162.6 cm). For female candidates, the minimum height should be 152 cm (SC candidates: 147 cm, candidates from hilly areas: 147 cm).
