The Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education has recently released the academic calendar for the 2024–25 school year, bringing clarity to the upcoming schedule for students. According to the new calendar, the practical exams for Classes 10 and 12, conducted by the UPMSP, are set to take place from January 21 to February 5, 2025. UP board exams are expected to be held in February or March. The academic calendar also reveals the dates for pre-board tests.

Students can access the detailed UP Board academic calendar for 2024-25 on the official website, upmsp.edu.in. Students can refer to the following table to understand the key dates and events in the UP Board academic calendar for 2024–2025:

– Monthly test with objective questions: Third week of May

– Monthly test based on detailed questions: Last week of July

– Half-yearly exam practical: End of September

– Half-yearly written exam: Second, third week of October

– Result of half-yearly exam: First week of November

– Monthly test based on objective questions: Last week of November

– Monthly test based on detailed questions: Last week of December

– Completion date of the course: First week of January 2025

– Class 12 board pre-practical: Second week of January 2025

– Class 10, 12 pre-board written exam: Third week of January 2025

Over 27,000 UP Board schools have received their academic calendars for 2024–25. As part of the academic calendar, every month will feature two periods dedicated to career counseling on the second and fourth Saturdays after lunch, aimed at guiding students toward informed career choices.

Additionally, before lunch, four periods will be allocated for discussions on various topics such as awareness campaigns, yoga, contests, cleaning drives, and the rights of women and children. These activities will be overseen by the Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA), ensuring a holistic and enriching educational experience for students across UP Board schools.
