The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to conduct the UGC NET 2024 for the June session in Computer Based Test (CBT), mode for 83 subjects. The UGC NET June 2024 will be conducted from today, August 21 and will go on until September 4. There will be two shifts for the test. The first shift will start at 9:00 AM and last till 12 PM while the second shift goes from 3 PM to 6 PM. The admit card for the UGC NET 2024 examinations has been made available on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. A registered candidate must provide their application number and birthdate in order to download their admit card.
It is recommended that candidates bring only the following items to the examination centre:
–– Admit card and completed Self Declaration (Undertaking), which can be retrieved from the NTA website and printed clearly on A4-sized paper.
–– A basic, clear ballpoint pen.
–– Extra photograph, to be added to the attendance sheet.
–– 50 ml of personal hand sanitiser.
–– Personal clear water bottle.
–– Identification Proof.
UGC NET 2024: Important Guidelines
Students are required to go over all exam day regulations and directions prior to taking the exam.
–– Candidates must be at the Examination Centre at least two hours before the start of the examination so they can finish searching and registration procedures on time.
–– The registration desk will close thirty minutes before the test.
–– It is recommended that applicants carefully read and abide by the directions on their admit card while taking the exam.
–– As soon as the examination hall opens, candidates ought to secure a seat. The general instructions that will be provided in the test rooms/halls could be missed by the applicants if they fail to report on time for whatever reason, such as a traffic congestion, a delayed train or bus, etc. Any delay will not be covered by the NTA’s liability.
–– The NTA will not, under any circumstances, hold a retest for applicants who are unable to attend on the designated test day for any reason.
–– Prior to arriving at the centre, applicants must paste their photo, insert their thumb imprint in the designated spot on the admit card, and fill out the Self Declaration (Undertaking) with the necessary information in legible handwriting.
–– Candidates are not permitted to bring any additional personal items to the exam centre, such as cell phones or other gadgets. Personal possessions will not be kept in safe custody by examination officials, and no facility will be provided.
–– Clothes with big buttons and shoes or boots with bulky soles are not allowed.
–– If you must wear a certain outfit due to religious or customary requirements, please arrive at the location early for a full inspection and required frisking.
