SSC Constable (GD) exam 2025 will be conducted in January-February next year.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will release the notification for the recruitment of constable (General Duty) in CAPFs, NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in the Assam Rifles soon. As per the latest reports, the commission is likely to roll out the recruitment advertisement for the SSC Constable (GD) 2025 this week on the official website ssc.gov.in. SSC is likely to release the recruitment notification for SSC GD 2024 on August 27 and the candidates may apply till the first week of October. The commission will conduct the SSC GD 2024 exam in January-February, 2025. Last time, a total of 75768 posts were notified by SSC. The year, the commission is expected to recruit for more than 50000 vacancies.

Candidates will be able to check the exact dates for the above-mentioned events, once the official notification is rolled out.

SSC GD 2025: Eligibility Criteria

According to the past notifications, the eligibility criteria for SSC GD recruitment are as follows

Age limit: Candidates should be between 18-23 years as of the date that is mentioned on the notification. Relaxation in the upper age limit will apply to reserved category candidates.

Educational Qualification: Candidates who wish to apply for SSC GD 2024 must have passed the Class 10 examination from a recognised board or university

SSC GD 2025: Application Fee

Last year, candidates were required to pay the application fee of Rs 100 while female candidates, Ex-servicemen and candidates belonging to the SC and ST categories were exempted from any application fee.

SSC GD 2025: Selection Procedure

The SSC GD 2025 Exam is expected to be conducted in January-February 2025. The exam is generally conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode in both English and Hindi languages. Candidates who pass the CBT are then required to appear for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), medical examination, and document verification.
