The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the recruitment for over 39,000 Constable GD positions. The application period is open until October 14. The written examination for SSC Constable GD Recruitment is scheduled to take place between January and February 2025 and will be conducted in a computer-based format.
This recruitment drive will cover positions for Constable GD in CAPF, SSF, Rifleman in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in the Narcotics Control Bureau. The CAPF includes BSF, CRPF, Secretariat Security Force (SSF), CISF, NIA, ITBP, SSB and Assam Rifles.

Candidates who pass the computer-based written examination for SSC Constable GD Recruitment will need to undergo physical and medical tests. Each part will have a set number of questions, and the total maximum marks for each part will be 40. The exam will be conducted over a total of 60 minutes. There will also be negative markings in the Constable GD recruitment exam. 0.25 marks will be deducted for giving a wrong answer.
The SSC Constable GD Recruitment Exam (Computer Based) will feature objective-type multiple-choice questions. The exam will be available in English and Hindi, as well as in 13 regional languages:

The Constable GD recruitment exam will be conducted over multiple days and in several shifts. To ensure fairness in the results, normalization of scores will be applied using the prescribed formula. Additionally, bonus marks will be awarded to candidates who hold an NCC certificate after the normalization of scores, and these will be included in the final merit list.
