The Rajasthan Board Of Secondary Education Class 10 results are out and many of the students who have scored well are in a celebratory mood. One among them is Nikita Chaudhary, the topper of the tenth class in Barmer. In an era where youngsters fiddling with their smartphones is a common sight, Nikita avoided spending time on her phone or social media during her preparations and credits her rank to this. The result is evident as Nikita Chaudhary has scored 99 per cent marks in the 10th board examinations.
Nikita, originally a resident of Ishrol, has topped the Barmer district in class 10 by scoring 96 in Hindi, 100 in English, 100 in Science, 100 in Social Science, 98 in Mathematics and 100 in Sanskrit. Nikita credits her success to the support of her parents and the blessings of Goddess Gayatri as she hails from a spiritual family. She used to study 6-8 hours a day.
Her mother Magi Devi is a ranger officer in the forest department and her father Dharmaram is a lecturer. Coming from an academically sound background, her family had high expectations of her and she said that she is happy to have been able to live up to the expectations. However, she is a little disappointed over losing 4 marks in the Hindi subject. However, she believes that it is possible to lose marks in a language subject but she is unable to understand how she lost two marks in Mathematics as she is sure she had solved all the problems accurately. Nikita has aspirations of becoming a doctor.
In the Rajasthan Board Of Secondary Education Class 10 exams, out of 5,62,686 boys, 2,74,522 boys passed the examination with first division. On the other hand, 4,98,065 girls appeared for the exam, and 2,71,131 passed the exam with first division. The result of the Secondary and Secondary Vocational examination was 93.03 per cent, out of which the passing percentage of boys was 92.64 per cent and the passing percentage of girls was 93.46 per cent.
