National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) Green Energy Limited is currently recruiting eligible and interested candidates for various posts. Those who are Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology graduates and are looking for high-paying government jobs, this is good news for them. The available posts are Engineer (RE-Civil), Engineer (RE-Electrical), Engineer (RE-Mechanical), Executive (HR), Engineer (CDM), Executive (Finance), Engineer (IT) and Executive (CC). NTPC is the parent company of Green Energy Limited and currently has a vacancy of 63 engineers in the company. The last date for online application for the recruitment is April 13. The application process commenced on March 21. To fill out the online application, candidates need to visit the NTPC website, ntpcrel.co.in.

As per the notification issued, candidates for the post of executive in NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) can earn around Rs 83,000 per month. The announcement also mentioned that candidates must have passed BE/B. Tech or Chartered Accountant (CA) degree with at least 60 per cent marks from any recognised University or Institution. The company has also fixed the age limit. The minimum age of the candidate can be 21 and the maximum is set to 30 or 32 years, depending upon the position. Candidates belonging to the reserved category will be given relaxation in the maximum age limit as per the rules.

Candidate must pay an application fee of Rs 500 if they belong to the General or Other Backward Classes (OBCs) category. Fees have been exempted for those belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Persons With Benchmark Disability (PwBD) / Ex-Servicement (XSM) category and female candidates.

As per the notification, the application may be assigned work at any of the NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) stations, projects or subsidiaries. Candidates will be shortlisted only if they clear the online written test and personal interview. The online written test is to be held in Delhi/Noida. After getting hired, the period of deputation will be 3 years.
