Maharaja Ganga Singh University (MGSU) of Bikaner has taken a significant step by uploading all mark sheets from 2012 on its official website. This move aims to benefit students from the Sriganganagar, Hanumangargh and Churu districts, sparing them the need to travel to Bikaner to collect their marksheets. The jurisdiction of Maharaja Ganga Singh University covers the Bikaner Division, which includes these districts. With lakhs of students applying to the university, MGSU, a state government university accredited by UGC, serves as a vital educational institution in the region.
Prof. Rajaram Choyal, the Controller of Examinations at MGSU, stated that most records are now available online. Certified or duplicate mark sheets and migration certificates for examinations conducted from 2012 to 2023 can be accessed on the university’s website. Additionally, a provisional certificate is available online. Using their roll number, students can download their mark sheets and request delivery to their registered postal address. Verification of marksheets for graduate and postgraduate candidates who studied from 2016 to 2020 in affiliated colleges and verification of degrees awarded from 2018 to 2020 can be done through the DigiLocker platform.
Churu district has 19 government and around 60 private colleges affiliated with Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Bikaner. Previously, students from these districts had to travel long distances to the university’s headquarters in Bikaner to collect their marksheets. However, now, by applying online for certified or duplicate mark sheets and migration certificates, students can have these documents delivered directly to their home address via postal mail.
Meanwhile, MGSU, Bikaner, conducted the 1st-semester exams for Bachelor of Science, Commerce and Arts from January 29, 2024. The results will be released in the form of a mark sheet on the university’s official website, expected in March. College authorities will notify the candidates after the release of the list. Candidates can check their results by submitting their roll number, father’s name and mother’s name. While the exact date of the results has not been announced by university officials, they might be released in the last week of March.
