Pareeksha Bhavan, Kerala extended the online registration deadline for the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) April 2024. As per the latest updates, candidates can register for the exam till May 2, 2024. To apply for the KTET April 2024 exam, candidates will have to visit the official site at ktet.kerala.gov.in. Once the registration process closes, candidates will be able to make corrections or edit their application forms from May 4 to May 7, 2024.
According to the schedule, the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test will be held on June 22 and June 23 this year. The eligibility exams on both the respective days will be held in two shifts. The first shift is from 10 AM to 12:30 PM and the second shift is scheduled from 2 PM to 4:30 PM. Candidates who have successfully registered for the KTET 2024 exam will be able to download their admit cards from June 3 onwards.
KTET April 2024: Steps To Register
Step 1: Go to the official website of Pareeksha Bhavan, Kerala at ktet.kerala.gov.in
Step 2: Search and click on the “KTET APRIL 2024 Register Here” link that is available on the homepage.
Step 3: Then go to the ‘New Registration’ section and complete the registration process.
Step 4: Once the registration is done, log in to the portal using the credentials and fill out the application form as directed.
Step 5: Upload all the mandatory documents and pay the online application fee.
Step 6: Check all the details and submit the form.
KTET April 2024: Application Fee
The general category candidates need to pay Rs 500 as an application fee. Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Physically Handicapped (PH) applicants have to pay Rs 250.
KTET April 2024: Exam Pattern
The KTET 2024 examination consists of four papers. Lower primary teachers will sit for the Category 1 exam; upper primary teachers will appear for the Category 2 exam; high school teachers take the Category 3 exam; and language teachers will attend the Category 4 exam, which includes Arabic, Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu, speciality teachers, and physical education instructors.
The KTET 2024 exam will be administered in offline mode for 150 minutes. The exam carries a total of 150 marks. Those appearing should keep in mind that one mark will be given for every correct answer and there will be no negative marking for wrong answers. Also, every paper in the KTET 2024 exam will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) that will be based on the category.
