The National Testing Agency, NTA will release the JEE Main 2024 session 1 admit cards soon on its official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. The agency will issue the admit cards three days prior to the exam. The JEE Main 2024 phase 1 will be held from January 24 to February 1. Hence, the admit cards are expected to be released after January 20.

There will be two papers in JEE Main 2024 — paper 1 and paper 2. While paper 1 is held for entrance to BE and BTech programmes at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), and other institutions or universities, paper 2 is conducted for admission to BArch and BPlanning courses.
The JEE Main 2024 session 1 will be held for a duration of three hours, except for candidates appearing for the joint exam of BArch and BPlanning, who will have 3 hours and 30 minutes to write the exam. The JEE Main 2024 Session 1 will comprise three papers which include Paper 1 for BTech programmes, Paper 2A for Bachelor of Architecture, and Paper 2B for Bachelor of Planning.
Candidates have the option to apply for either Session 1 or Session 2 separately or both together, with applicable exam fees. The JEE Main 2024 session 1 result will be declared on February 12. The session 2 exams will take place from April 1 to April 15, 2024 and the registration process is scheduled to take place from February 2 to March 2, 2024.
The NTA has added Abu Dhabi as an exam centre for the JEE Main 2024 following a request by the Ambassador of India, Abu Dhabi “to support the student community” there. Dubai and Sharjah are already examination cities for the exam.
