Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (IP University) is slated to begin registrations online for its 19 undergraduate courses for applicants having Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) scores tomorrow, August 9, at 12 pm. The official websites, ipu.ac.in and ipu.admissions.nic.in, are where applicants may register themselves by the deadline date of August 20 at 11:59 PM.

IP University UG Admissions 2024: Eligibility Criteria

In an earlier announcement, the university stated that admissions will be made on the basis of CUET merit following the completion of the University’s merit lists for the National Level Test (NLT) and Common Entrance Test (CET).

Registering on the university site is only open to applicants who took the CUET. Furthermore, any candidate who has previously acquired a place in any programme or college of the University by NLT/CET and has ‘Admitted’ status will not be offered a seat through CUET merit.

It is worth noting that IP University previously said that for the current academic session, CUET results will be given second priority after CET and NLT. This approach guarantees that students who score well on these common entrance examinations are given proper consideration throughout the enrolment process.

IP University UG Admissions 2024: Application Fee

IP University is accepting registrations till August 20. To apply, candidates must pay an application fee of Rs 2,500 for each programme they choose to register themselves for.

A total of 19 UG programmes, including BS Packaging Technology, B.Sc./M.Sc. (Dual Degree), B.Sc. (Environmental Science), BA English, BA Economics, and B.Sc. Yoga, are tentatively offered by IP University.

The CUET UG 2024 results were released on July 28 by the National Testing Agency (NTA). For the first time, a hybrid format comprising computer-based and pen-and-paper assessments was used for the entrance exam, which is required for admission to undergraduate programs at central universities and other participating institutions. The CUET UG 2-24 exams were held from May 15 to 29, with around 13.48 lakh students participating.
