The Institute of Chartered Accountants Of India (ICAI) has begun the application correction process for ICAI CA 2024. Students, who have applied for the May CA inter exam – Group 1 and CA inter exam – Group 2, can now make necessary changes to their application form by visiting the portal at icai.org. The correction window will close on March 9.
The CA intermediate exam features eight subjects across two groups, which are as follows:
Group 1: Accounting, Corporate and Other Laws, Cost and Management Accounting, Taxation.
Group 2: Advanced Accounting, Auditing and Assurance, Enterprise Information Systems and Strategic Management, Financial Management, and Economics for Finance.
ICAI CA 2024 Application: What Can You Correct?
Candidates are allowed to correct details such as their name, parents’ names, birthdate, address, category, disability status, and college name on the application form. However, it’s important to note that once the exam city has been selected, it cannot be changed. Therefore, candidates are advised to carefully review and double-check all information before submitting their applications.
How To Edit ICAI CA May 2024 Application Form?
Candidates can easily make corrections to their ICAI CA May 2024 application form by following these simple steps:
Step 1: Visit the official website of ICAI — icaiexam.icai.org.
Step 2: Click on the ‘Login’ button on the homepage and enter your login ID and password.
Step 3: Open your CA application form where corrections are required.
Step 4: Update the details that need correction.
Step 5: Click on the ‘Save’ button to lock the changes and proceed with the application process.
Step 6: Download the ICAI CA May 2024 application correction form and take a print out for future reference.
The ICAI CA Foundation December 2023 results were released on February 7. Around 30 per cent of the students who took the exam cleared it. The exam was administered between December 31, 2023, and January 6, 2024. The CA foundation paper consists of a total of 400 marks. Each paper contains 100 marks. One-fourth marks is deducted for each wrong answer.
