The Central Board of Secondary Education recently released the results of the 10th class and 12th board examinations. Several students from the state of Bihar have passed the examination with flying colours. Talking to Local18, many such students emerged as toppers, and want to become Chartered Accountants (CAs) and doctors.
These students are from DAV Public School, Kaushik Nagar, Purnia, Bihar. After the results of the CBSE class 12 examination were released by the boards five students from the school emerged as school toppers.
Prabhav Kumar Jha emerged as one of the school toppers in the science stream. The boy brought glory to his school by scoring 92 per cent marks in the Class 12 examination. In an interview with Local 18, he said, “My dream is to become a doctor. I have already started preparing for the NEET examination and for now, I’ll focus on the preparation only.”
On the other hand, Palak Kumari, a commerce student at the same school scored 89.6 per cent. When asked about her study routine she said, “I never took the stress of studies, rather I used to sit for study when I wished to study. This helped me to stay calm and focused.” Talking about her family background she said that her father is a contractor in the Purnia district of Bihar. When asked about her plans she mentioned that she wants to pursue commerce and become a chartered accountant.
Several other students from the same school passed the exam with excellent marks. Shubham Kumar scored 90 per cent, Mayank Kumar scored 90.6 per cent and Aditya Kumar Nayak scored 95.20 per cent.
The CBSE board announced the results of the Class 12 board examination on May 13. Around 19 lakh students appeared for the examination out of which 87.98 per cent of students passed the examination. The board decided to not release the toppers’ list this year to avoid unhealthy competition.
