The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has issued a notification for vacant positions of Special Public Prosecutor. Candidates interested in applying for these positions can do so online by visiting the official website of CBI at cbi.gov.in. The application window is open and will close on March 15.
As per the official notification, candidates applying for the Special Public Prosecutor posts will be recruited under the provision of Section 24 (8) of Cr.PC, 1973 and will handle DSPE cases before the high courts.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the CBI Special Public Prosecutor (Retainer Counsel for High Court) position, candidates must hold an LLB degree and have at least ten years of experience as an Advocate, along with a certificate from the Bar Council.
Documents
Candidates applying for the position must submit certain documents during the registration process, including educational qualifications, an enrollment certificate as an advocate with the bar council, an experience certificate from the bar for at least 10 years and details of important cases handled by the candidate.

They should then download the confirmation page and keep a hard copy for future reference.
Salary
The salary for recruited advocates in CBI vacant posts is also mentioned in the notification. The retainer fee per year will be Rs 50,000. Additionally, the daily fee per case per day for cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai will be Rs 15,000, while for cities other than these four, it will be Rs 10,000.
