The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta has opened the application correction window for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 on September 27. Candidates can make the changes on the application form by visiting the official website of IIM CAT at iimcat.ac.in and logging into their dashboard.
Candidates can only update the photo, signature, and exam city preferences in their application. “Edit window for updating only the photograph, signature, and city preferences, if required by the candidate, will be available from September 27 (10.00 AM) to September 30 (5.00 PM), 2024, for those who have submitted their application forms successfully,” reads the official notice.
The CAT 2024 registration process concluded on September 13. The exam admit cards are expected to be distributed on November 5. IIM Calcutta will administer the test in 170 places on November 24.

The CAT 2024 exam will be held for 120 minutes. The paper will consist of three sections including Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Ability. Candidates get 40 minutes for each section and will not be allowed to switch from one section to another while attempting questions in a section.
According to the regulatory standards, 15 per cent of the seats are set aside for candidates from Scheduled Castes (SC). Approximately 7.5 per cent of the seats are allocated for applicants from Scheduled Tribes (ST), and 27 per cent are for candidates from Other Backward Classes or those from the “non-creamy” layer (NC-OBC). For candidates from Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), up to 10 per cent of the seats are set aside.
