Many people dream of visiting the ISRO campus to witness their work. This unmatchable feat was reportedly achieved by two students from Bihar. Monty Kumar, the boy who topped the BSEB Matric exam and Divya Bharti, the topper among the girls, are selected for a visit to the ISRO campus in Bengaluru. As per reports, the state government will cover the expenses for this visit, allowing both students to explore the scientific works of ISRO. The aim is to foster scientific awareness among talented students from a young age.

The reports further stated that the DEO Pramod Kumar has sent the biodata and other details of both the students to the Bihar education department. This opportunity is being provided to one top student from each gender at the district level in the matriculation exam by the government.

According to reports, Monty is a student of Janata High School located in the Sitamarhi district of Bihar. His father, Kameshwar Chaudhary, works as a labourer while his mother. Rinku Kumari is a homemaker. He is a resident of Parsauni Mailwar village. Monty topped the district in the 2024 matriculation exam with 95.2 per cent marks. He mentioned that he aspires to become an IITian. He is currently an 11th-grade Science student. He is reportedly thrilled after knowing that he is selected for this program.

On the other hand, Divya Bharati secured the first position among girls. She secured third position in the overall ranking in the district. Divya is a student at Kamla Girls High School in Dumra.

Divya’s family is amazed after knowing that she has been selected for a special visit to the ISRO campus. She reportedly scored 94.2 per cent on the 10th-grade examination. Her father, Kailash Sah Nirala, works in a private company, while her mother, Babita Kumari, is a homemaker. Divya aspires to become a scientist and serve the nation. Her parents mentioned that they are overjoyed and feel immensely proud of their daughter’s achievement.
