Bihar Board has asked students to fill out the online form for the matric compartmental examination from April 3 to April 9. The results of the compartment exam will be declared by May 31

The result of the Bihar Board Matriculation (10th class) examination 2024 has been released. To pass the board exam, it is necessary to get at least 33 per cent marks. Those getting marks less than this will be considered failed. However, students who have failed also need not panic. Such students will be given one chance to pass the Bihar 10th exam 2024.

According to the rules of the Bihar Board, if a student fails in one or two subjects then s/he can take the compartment examination. The schedule of the compartment examination will be released by the board soon. For compartment examination, students have to pay a fixed fee per subject.

Furthermore, those whose marks are lower can also increase their marks.  Students unhappy with the marks obtained in the Bihar Board Matriculation examination can get their marks scrutinised. However, only the marks obtained after scrutiny are considered final. Like the compartment exam, a separate registration fee has to be deposited for the scrutiny process.

Bihar Board Chairman Anand Kishore asked the students who did not pass the matriculation examination not to be disappointed. Bihar Board has asked students to fill out the online form for the matric compartmental examination from April 3 to April 9. The results of the compartment exam will be declared by May 31.

What are the short forms in Bihar Board 10th Marksheet?

Short forms written in Bihar Board 10th Marksheet 2024 indicate your result status:

1- If F is written on your matriculation mark sheet then it means that you have failed. Now if you want, you can improve Bihar Board’s 10th result through revaluation.

2- The full form of C is compartmental. This means that you can take the Bihar Board 10th compartmental exam.

3- B means Betterment.

4- If U/R is written in Bihar Board 10th mark sheet, it means Under Regulation.

5- ABS means that you were absent on the day of the examination of a particular subject.

A total of 16,64,252 students took the exam this year. Out of this, 13,79,542 have passed the exam successfully and are eligible to take admission in class 11. This means, 82.91 per cent of the students have cleared the BSEB matric exam. A total of 51 students have made it to the top 10. As many as four students have secured rank 3. Shivankar Kumar from Purnia district has secured rank 1 in the state with 97.80 per cent. A total of 4,52,302 students have secured first division, 5,24,965 second division, and 3,80,732 third division.
