The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India released their Final and Intermediate examination results 2024 on July 11, 2024. As per the Local 18 report, many candidates have emerged victorious in this exam. One such student is Amey Shrestha. He accomplished this objective on the first attempt at the age of 23. He got 407 out of 600 marks in the CA final examination, which was held in May 2024. This course comprised three levels – CA Foundation, CA Inter and CA Final. This accomplishment is special for Amey because his father Amar Verma wanted his son to become a CA. Amar said that he is happy with his son’s achievement. Amar Verma said that when he was a student, he also wanted to become a CA. His family’s weak financial condition became an obstacle to his dream. Now, he is happy that his son has fulfilled this ambition. According to him, his son wanted to become an Indian Administrative Service officer and his mother also desired the same. But to fulfil his dream, Amey changed his stream and left no stone unturned for the CA preparation. Today, Amar said that his son has made his grandfather Late Parmanand Prasad proud. Amey hails from Manullahpatti village, located in the Bhargama subdivision, of Araria district in Bihar.

Amey said that he secured his primary education at Saintil Public School, Purnia district, Bihar. He further completed his classes 11th and 12th from Bijendra Public School, Purnia from a science background (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics). According to Amey, it was quite difficult for him to pursue a Chartered Accountancy course as there was no CA in his entire family. He still took his chances and decided to pursue a Chartered Accountancy course. Amey remembered not going to all the functions to not get distracted in academics. Now, he wants to start his practice as a chartered accountant.

Amey has a piece of advice for the candidates willing to attempt this examination. He advised the candidates to follow the study material issued by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. As per Amey, it is essential to maintain belief in yourself, be consistent in your studies and most importantly, be patient.
