What’s better than superstar Thalapathy Vijay knocking out villain on the roof of iconic Chepauk Stadium? Not much. How about MS Dhoni’s cameo in the movie starring Vijay himself? Comes closer.
Yup, fans are going berserk over legendary India captain Dhoni’s surprising cameo in Vijay’s latest movie ‘The Greatest of All Time’.
In a brief appearance in ‘GOAT’, as Vijay is busy pulling off a stunt at the cricket venue, Dhoni is shown stepping out of the dressing room of the MA Chidambaram Stadium to bat for his beloved IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and later on, even hits a boundary.

The sight of two icons on the big screen left audience in awe and clips of their reaction are going viral on social media.
Dhoni has a passionate fanbase in Chennai thanks to his achievements during his India career and then for the city’s IPL franchise. As India captain, he won three ICC titles including the 2007 World T20, 2011 ODI World Cup and 2013 Champions Trophy. And as CSK skipper, he’s won five IPL titles and two Champions League T20 titles.
Dhoni stepped down as CSK captain earlier this year with Ruturaj Gaikwad taking over the charge. There’s no clarity if the wicketkeeper-batter will return as a player next season. Dhoni himself hasn’t taken a call and hinted it will depend on the next auction.
