Wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant is not going to part ways with Delhi Capitals. Several media reports claimed that the franchise might release its captain ahead of the mega auctions, scheduled to take place later this year. However, it has been learned that Pant will be the DC’s top retention choice.
According to Cricbuzz, Pant is all set to be retained by the Delhi Capitals. The development also quashes the rumours of differences between the cricketer and the team management regarding his retention fee. The wicketkeeper-batter currently draws INR 16 crore which is expected to go up based on the total player purse allowed to a franchise and the retention fee guidelines set by the BCCI.
