After a challenging opening season, Royal Challengers Bangalore will be hoping for a much better outing when the next edition of Women’ Premier League (WPL) kickstarts. The WPL 2024 will be played in two legs with matches spread across Bengaluru and Delhi this time around.
The inaugural season was held entirely in Mumbai.
RCB therefore will be looking forward to making full use of their home advantage with the Smriti Mandhana-led side scheduled to play as many as five of their eight matches in Bengaluru.
How RCB Fared in WPL 2023?
RCB had a nightmare of a start to life in WPL as they lost their opening five matches. They made a mini comeback by winnings back-to-back matches but finished their campaign with another defeat. Overall, they won two and lost six matches to end fourth on the points table, failing to make it to the knockout stage.

They purchased as many as seven players, spending a total of Rs 2.1 crore at the auction held in December last year.
