Mind-Boggling! 3 Super-Overs in Single Game in KSCA Maharaja T20 Trophy 2024 - WATCH
A triple super over was played which took place in the KSCA Maharaja T20 Trophy where the Hubli Tigers led by Manish Pandey came out victorious over Kalyani Bengaluru Blasters led by Mayank Agarwal.

The Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) Maharaja T20 Trophy 2024 where the Hubli Tigers and Kalyani Bengaluru Blasters were involved in a triple Super Over at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, making the fixture one for the ages.

The two sides were locked in a fierce contest. Batting first, the Hubli Tigers posted a first innings total of 164/10 thanks to some handy contributions from the likes of Mohammed Taha, the skipper Manish Pandey and Aneeshwar Gautam. For the Bengaluru Blasters, Lavish Kaushal was the pick of the bowlers leading the pack with a five-wicket haul. This included one maiden and conceded just 17 runs in his four overs.

Coming to the second innings, the captain of the Kalyani Bengaluru Blasters, Mayank Agarwal led from the top, scoring 54 in 34 balls to give the side the start they needed. However, Mayank struggled to find any support on the other end as Manvanth Kumar wreaked havoc with the ball taking a four-fer for the Tigers. But thanks to a rear-guard effort from Naveen MG who scored a 11-ball 23 gave the Blasters some hope as the game moved on to the first Super Over.

1st Super Over

The Blasters who were batting first in the first Super Over were jolted as their star man and skipper Mayank was dismissed in the very first ball. LR Kumar of the Hubli Tigers had the batters under his grip but in the final delivery, Aniruddha Joshi struck the maximum to take the Blasters total to 10 runs in the over.

Coming to the next innings, it looked to be an easy road to victory for the Hubli Tigers. Starting the Super Over, both Manish Pandey and Manvanth Kumar got a few singles rolling for them. Pandey used his experience and struck a maximum in the fourth delivery of the over. With two runs needed in two balls, the bowler, Lavish Kaushal got the dot they needed to turn the tides in their favour, but Pandey got the single in the end to take the game onto the next Super Over.

 2nd Super Over

Manish Pandey and Manvanth Kumar were in once again for the second over. This time they had to go up against Naveen MG. This time, the Hubli Tigers were unable to score the boundary and struggled to go big as they settled for the singles and doubles to set a target of 9 runs. 

In the second innings, the pacer Vidhwath Kaverappa was handed the responsibilities. However, the very first delivery resulted in a boundary being scored by LR Chetan. After a dot in the second delivery, Manish Pandey showcased his brilliance on the field by enforcing a run-out to get rid of Chetan. Suraj Ahuja and Aniruddha Joshi had to score 4 runs in the final three balls but were unable to get the job done as they settled for a run a ball in the final stretch to take the game to the third Super Over.

3rd Super Over

Manvanth Kumar was given the bowling duties for the Hubli Tigers who delivered in the very first delivery by getting rid of Aniruddha Joshi. Both Shubang Hegde and Suraj Ahuja looked to go big but were unable to find the ropes. In the final delivery, however, Hegde got the maximum which propelled the Blasters to set the target of 13 runs.

Kranthi Kumar was given the ball while Manvanth Kumar took strike. The latter after taking a double in the first ball, turned the tides in their favour with a boundary off the second delivery. After taking the single, it was all on the experienced Manish Pandey. But the wide came in handy which allowed the Indian international to squeeze in one more run. Manvanth in the end, finished the job with a scintillating boundary to get the job done and give the Hubli Tigers the victory.
