Team India batsman Sarfaraz Khan made his Test debut in the third Test of the series between India and England at Rajkot on Thursday as he produced a brilliant half-ton to help the hosts’ cause.
Khan, who has been handed his debut after a prolonged wait made good on his chance as he grabbed the opportunity presented to him with both hands with a spectacular 62-run knock off just 66 deliveries before he was unceremoniously run out by Englishman Mark Wood.
Fans took to social media to express their delight at the 26-year-old’s smashing debut performance and congratulated him for the way he navigated through the English bowling.

Team India, who had won the toss and opted to bat first in the third Test managed to score 314 runs for the loss of 5 wickets when Khan was sent back to the hut following his dismissal.
