England skipper Ben Stokes was left befuddled in his dismissal by the left-arm spinner, Gudakesh Motie on day 2 of the first Test against the West Indies at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground, London on Thursday.

The spinner was able to uproot the middle stump of the English captain that’s to a ripper of an off-break delivery that turned sharply into the left-hander which beat both bat and pad to enforce the dismissal.

Following the dismissal, Stokes himself was left stunned by the delivery which he did not expect to turn in so sharply as he walked back to the stands after making just four runs off 11 balls.

The home side was dominant right from the first day where Gus Atkinson managed to outshine the veteran James Anderson to make a sparkling debut with figures of 7/45 in his 12 overs. His bowling resulted in the Windies being all-out for a mere 121 runs.
