The second Test between South Africa and India at the Newlands Cricket Ground in Cape Town witnessed a historic opening day as both teams wrapped each others’ first innings up on the first day of the match.

India bundled out South Africa for a paltry total of 55 runs before SA wrapped up the Indian innings for 153 runs.

India were in a position of control as they led by 80-odd runs at 130 for the loss of 4 wickets before the visitors surrendered tamely as the men in blue collapsed to 153 all out.
