Actress Keerthy Suresh finally reacted to rumours claiming that she is getting married to Anirudh Ravichander. For the unversed, rumours went viral claiming that the National Award-winning actress is getting married to the Jawan music director. While her father has dismissed the claims, Keerthy has also clarified that she is not getting married to Anirudh. She also added that she sees herself as a married woman in the future.
“It is wrong news. Anirudh is a good friend of mine,” she told Times Now. When asked about her wedding plans, she added, “It will happen at some point in time.”
Earlier in the day, her father, renowned Malayalam film producer and actor G Suresh Kumar also shut down reports making claims about Keerthy’s wedding with Anirudh. Suresh told OTT Play, “There’s absolutely no truth in that. The reports are all baseless without an iota of truth in it. There have been news of so many other link-ups too and this is not the first time someone is putting up a news story about her and Anirudh either.”
While Keerthy was recently linked with Anirudh, earlier this summer she was linked with a businessman named Farhan Bin Liaquath, who is also her friend, and claims were made that they were going to get married. However, her father clarified the claims at the time as well. He shared a video on Facebook at the time and explained that a Tamil online magazine sensationalized a photo of Keerthy with Farhan which she shared on his birthday. He called the claims as false and baseless.
He even urge people not to believe such rumours and stressed that whenever his daughter’s marriage is finalised, he will be the first to make the announcement. Any reports or rumours that do not include his confirmation should be dismissed as untrustworthy.
