In Tamil Nadu's Virudhanagar, Co-Optex Introduces Saving Scheme To Buy New Clothes
Co-Optex's new saving scheme is named Dream Realization Project started in Virudhunagar district in Tamil Nadu

A novel initiative named the “Dream Realization Project” in Tamil Nadu’s Virudhunagar district is offering people a chance to save gradually and fulfil their desire to buy expensive sarees. This unique scheme enables participants to start with a monthly contribution of Rs 300, continuing for 11 months, and in the 12th month, Co-Optex covers the instalment, providing the selected saree.

According to Geetha, a Co-Optex salesperson in Virudhunagar, the scheme extends beyond sarees, allowing individuals to purchase any Co-Optex product. However, sarees, particularly the handloom variety, remain the most sought-after items in the Dream Realization Project.

Geetha emphasised that prospective brides planning for their wedding next year can leverage the scheme to save and purchase wedding silk and attire. Co-Optex has played a significant role in directly procuring fabrics from weavers, and selling handcrafted silk sarees, cotton sarees, and household items through its branches across Tamil Nadu.

During Diwali, Co-Optex introduced a collection of puzzle sarees, enticing customers with a 30 per cent discount. Salespeople highlighted the arrival of new silk and cotton sarees during the festive season, providing insights into the latest offerings at various Co-Optex stores near Teppakulam, Mariamman, and Virudhunagar.
