Art Director Milan Fernandez Dies Of Heart Attack While Shooting Ajith Kumar's Vidaamuyarchi

There has been much curiosity and buzz surrounding the upcoming movie of Ajith Kumar and Trisha Krishnan’s Vidaamuyarchi. Amidst all the hype comes a piece of heartbreaking news that has left the film industry shocked. The Art director of the movie, Milan Fernandez, died of a heart attack while shooting in Azerbaijan.

As per reports, Milan Fernandez was working on the upcoming movie of Ajith Kumar titled Vidaamuyarchi. The shoot had just begun this month and is helmed by Magizh Thirumeni and produced by Lyca Productions. The makers also tweeted about Milan’s death which read, “Our sincere and deepest condolences to our Art Director, Milan Fernandez. May his soul rest in peace. Our prayers are with his family and beloved ones.”

Milan has previously worked in many of Ajith’s movies. In Azerbaijan, he was preparing for the shoot of the movie when he reportedly began feeling uneasy. The production team immediately rushed him to the hospital where he, unfortunately, succumbed to a massive heart attack.

As per a report in the Times of India, Milan suffered a cardiac arrest that turned out to be fatal. Reportedly, he returned to the hotel after the shoot was normal. The next morning he had assembled his team for work. But later, he suddenly complained of uneasiness and was sweating. The production team arranged for a car to take him to a hospital. But before they could reach the hospital, the art director passed away.

Milan Fernandez has worked in many Tamil movies like Billa, Velayudham, Veeram, Vettaikaaran, Thunivu, Endrendrum Punnagai, Vedalam, Annaatthe and Pathu Thala among others. The art director is survived by his wife, in Chennai and his son.

Speaking of the upcoming movie, Vidaamuyarchi will feature an interesting cast ensemble featuring actors like Trisha Krishnan, Ajith Kumar, and Arjun Das in pivotal roles. The film is backed by G.K.M. Tamil Kumaran and A. Subaskaran. One of the top composers in the industry is currently Anirudh Ravichander who has been given the responsibility for the music composition. Vidaamuyarchi marks actor Ajith Kumar and director Magizh Thirumeni’s 62nd collaboration together.
