New Delhi: LG Electronics India has unveiled the ultra sleek new XNote C1-Tablet PC, which is a unique combination of design, performance, entertainment and security.
Empowered with powerful graphics (NVIDIA GeForce Go7300) and high-definition sound quality (SRS WOW HD, 24bit), the LG Express Dual-core processor-based notebook is gracefully designed to give users an experience of handling a well-designed, elegant and technologically-rich laptop.
A tablet PC, for the uninitiated, is a slate-shaped mobile computer. It has a touch screen that allows its user to operate the computer with a digital pen, or a fingertip.
The main advantages to owning a tablet is that one can write, rather than type, in meetings. Handwritten notes are immediately digitised, making them easier to amend, search and share. Working with drawings, formulas, signatures is easier on tablets as that can become difficult to tackle on a traditional PC.
This LG Notebook model comes with a 10.6 wide screen finger touch LCD panel. It is 27mm thin and weighs 1.31kg. It has a standard keyboard, which provides ultimate typing comfort.
"The ultra-lightweight tablet notebooks will help redefine the style quotient of the consumers," R Manikandan, Head IT Division, LG Electronics, says.
This ultra portable notebook is priced at Rs 99,990.
They offer a more mobile way to interact with a computer. Tablet PCs are often used where normal notebooks are impractical or unwieldy, or do not provide the needed functionality.
